The Proteas have lost the toss and will bat first in the eighth edition of the Pink ODI at the Wanderers.

The Proteas have never lost in pink and they aim to make it an eighth Pink Day victory as they aim to wrap up the series.

Last year, the Pink Day event raised over R1.7 million for breast cancer and the ODI between Pakistan and the Proteas has been sold out with 24,000 people expected to be at the Bull Ring.

Thunderstorms are expected to crash the party, however, particularly in the morning and late afternoon.

The Proteas made one change. Imran Tahir has been selected while Tabraiz Shamsi loses out.

The big surprise for Pakistan was that Sarfaraz Ahmed did not come out to the middle for the toss. Shoaib Malik replaced him as captain.

Mohammad Rizwan will stand in as keeper and Usman Shinwari has replaced Pakistan’s best bowler from the third ODI, Hasan Ali.
