A gutsy ton from Tom Westley saw the England Lions score 266-4 (80.1 overs) as the Proteas drew their warm-up clash in Worcester.
After a declaration at 382-4 on day two from the Proteas on Friday, the England Lions got day three off to a steady start.

Two half-century partnerships between Sam Robson (47) and Keaton Jennings (39) saw the hosts post 71, before Morne Morkel grabbed the scalp of Jennings at the end of the 22nd over.
Westley got stuck in, but his 55-run partnership came to an end as Robson found himself strolling back to the pavilion just three runs short of his half-century.
Westley powered on with help from Gary Ballance as the pair put on 136 for the third wicket to take the Lions past 250, but Theunis de Bruyn’s double lbw’s in the 75th over saw Ballance dismissed on 55 and Sam Billings departing on two.
It was a great effort from the Lions, Westley ending on 106 not out, as the match ended in a draw with the hosts on 266 after 80.1 overs.
The Proteas will take confidence from their batting display, which saw Heino Kuhn (80), Hashim Amla (91) and Temba Bavuma (85) retire not out.
Quinton de Kock was also in the run-scoring charts, scoring 51 off 58 balls.
Their bowlers were not as lethal, however, with De Bruyn finishing as the highest wicket-taker in the match for the Proteas with figures of 2-24.
South Africa will now turn their attention to the Test series against England, the first match kicking off on 6 July at Lord’s.
