Phehlukwayo echoed Nortje’s sentiment. The pair were with the Proteas in India recently, but that tour was suspended early amid the threat posed by the pandemic.
‘We’ve been going through a tough time as a country, but I’d like to say thank you to all the frontline workers for the work they are doing to keep us safe and healthy. We stand united with you, even from afar,’ he tweeted.
