Boland Park will host a dead-rubber ODI clash between the Proteas and Zimbabwe. With the Proteas 2-0 up in the series, the biggest team news heading into the match was Faf du Plessis’ return to the side. He confirmed on Friday that he would slot into the No 3 position which means Reeza Hendricks moves up to open instead of Dean Elgar, who has been left out of the side

Rabada makes his return back to the side so the fans get to see Dale Steyn and Rabada open the bowling. The Proteas have also decided to retain Khaya Zondo which means Christiaan Jonker drops out of the XI. Tabraiz Shamsi gets a start as the Proteas play with two spinners.

Like the Proteas, Zimbabwe need an improved batting performance. The pitches in Kimberley and Bloemfontein were not up to scratch and both matches never went the full 50 overs. The pitch in Boland Park, however, seems to be a hotter track on a scorching day in Paarl.

Zimbabwe remain unchanged.
