Ben Stokes smashed an impressive 182 runs as England thrashed New Zealand by 181 runs to win the third one-day international at The Oval on Wednesday.
Ben Stokes’ scorching 182 was the highest score by an England batsman in an ODI. It was the highlight of an innings in which Dawid Malan made 96, which added up to 368 all out.
Trent Boult’s 5-51 kept New Zealand in the game after England had been bowled out with 11 balls left.
New Zealand, on the other hand, fell to 37-4 when they tried to answer. Chris Woakes (3-31) did most of the damage.
Rachin Ravindra’s score of 28 was less than Glenn Phillips’s score of 72, and New Zealand was out after making 187 runs.
Friday is the last day of the series at Lord’s.
