The Abu Dhabi T10 League will block high-profile South African and international players from registering to play in the SA T20 League due to a clash of fixtures.
The second edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League takes place from 23 November to 2 December, slap bang in the middle of CSA’s T20 competition that starts on 9 November and ends on 16 December.
A day after CSA announced its partnership with SABC as tournament broadcasters, they announced the opening of their registration process for overseas players to participate in the South African-based tournament, and it is baffling to guess who may be the money-drawers in the competition.

The Abu Dhabi T10 draft have revealed their players to participate in the tournament, headlined by former Proteas bowler Morne Morkel.
Morkel, who retired from international cricket earlier this year, has also played for the Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, and St Lucia Zouks in the Caribbean Premier League.

Other honourable South African participants: Ex-Proteas batsman Colin Ingram, Dolphins star Cameron Delport, Marchant de Lange, Hardus Viljoen, former Proteas batsmen Rilee Rossouw and Roelof van der Merwe.
International stars include: Chris Gayle (WI), Eoin Morgan (ENG), Kieron Pollard (WI), Tom Curran (ENG), Jason Roy (ENG), Mujeeb Ur Rahman (AFG), Sam Billings (ENG), Niroshan Dickwella (SL), Shane Watson (AUS), Colin de Grandhomme (NZ), Darren Sammy (WI), Andre Russell (WI), Rashid Khan (AFG), Alex Hales (ENG), Dwayne Bravo (WI), Shoaib Malik (PAK), Liam Plunkett (ENG), Brendon McCullum (NZ), Chris Lynn (AUS), Mohammad Hafeez (PAK), Shahid Afridi (PAK), Colin Munro (NZ), Sunil Narine (WI).

Additionally, the Proteas will be in Australia for an ODI tour which and as a result many high-profile South African stars will be excluded from participation.
