Junior Dala says the Proteas bowlers need to be less reactive in the second T20I against India at Centurion.
The Proteas have had their problems, especially with the bat, but there have been some issues with their bowling too, especially with their opening pair in the T20s.

Dala opened the bowling with Dane Paterson. The 28-year-old started well for the Proteas, finishing his first two overs with figures of 2-18, but all the good work was undone as Paterson went for 31 runs in his first two.
Despite having Chris Morris, who has the experience to open the bowling, in the lineup, it is likely that the Proteas will persist with Paterson and Dala.
‘That is something the coaching staff has to decide,’ said Dala about a change up front.
‘At the end of the day, whether I or Dane Paterson open, if JP has faith in us or confidence in us, that’s all we sort of need.
‘We just need to be a lot more proactive. In the first three overs, if there are a lot of cut balls or pull balls, maybe we change it up a lot sooner.’
Dala admitted that he was nervous about opening the bowling on his debut for the Proteas.
‘I don’t bowl in the powerplay even for the Titans. So to open the bowling, I was glad I could control the ball. Maybe adrenaline got too much.
‘But overall, I could have done a bit better. I was pleased that I got a few wickets also. So not too bad.’
