George Linde and Lizaad Williams both claimed three wickets each, while Aiden Markram struck a consecutive half-century as the Proteas beat Pakistan by six wickets in the second T20I in Johannesburg on Monday.
After falling to a narrow defeat this past weekend, the Proteas dominated proceedings at the Wanderers with both ball and bat.
Linde led the charge as the Proteas bowled first, claiming three early wickets, while Tabraiz Shamsi and Sisanda Magala chipped in during the middle part to hamstring Pakistan’s innings.
Williams then provided an excellent spell towards the end, bagging three valuable wickets of his own as Pakistan made 140-9 in their 20 overs.
Captain Babar Azam was the pick of their batsmen, scoring 50 before he was knocked over by Magala with an excellent delivery.

Markram and Janneman Malan again made a flying start with the bat, smashing a few big sixes before Malan flicked one straight to Shaheen Afridi to depart for 15.
Wihan Lubbe struck three quick boundaries but was caught at mid-on for 12, while Pite van Biljon was caught behind for only two.
Markram, though, was impressive again and reached another T20I half-century but fell to Usman Qadir shortly after for 54.
Heinrich Klaasen and George Linde didn’t waste any time to get the Proteas over the line, hitting a few monster blows as South Africa got home with six overs to spare.
The third clash will take place in Centurion on Wednesday, with the series now level at 1-1.
