Shikhar Dhawan put India on the front foot in Sunday’s T20 international against South Africa at the Wanderers when he smashed 72 off just 39 balls.
The Indian opener eventually fell in the 15th over to Andile Phehlukwayo, and his team went on to make 203-5 from their 20 overs.
Debutant Junior Dala was the pick of the South African bowlers, as he picked up two wickets, but it was Tabraiz Shamsi who got the much-prized scalp of Indian captain Virat Kohli.
South Africa need 204 to win.
