Kagiso Rabada has been charged with a level two code of conduct breach by the umpires and faces a hearing on Saturday night to learn his fate.
The 21-year-old brushed shoulders with Steve Smith after dismissing the Australia captain lbw for 25.

If found guilty, he will receive three to four demerit points which will take him to eight overall and up to 100% of his match fee.
The breach will see him suffer a two-match ban and miss the rest of the series.
