In light of the coronavirus lockdown awaiting South Africa, SoccerClub looks at the top 10 most-expensive forwards in the Absa Premiership this season.
Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat is currently the most expensive forward on the list with a valuation of R36.3 million followed by Sundowns’ Themba Zwane, who is sitting on R24.8m, according to Transfermarkt.
Bidvest Wits’ Deon Hotto and reigning PSL Player of the Season Thembinkosi Lorch of Orlando Pirates occupy third and fourth place on the list with a value of R22.9m and R19.1m, respectively.
Mwape Musonda of Black Leopards comes in at No 6 on R18.1m, while Pirates winger Vincent Pule is seventh on the list with R17.2m.
Bottom of the list are Mamelodi Sundowns trio Lebohang Maboe (8th, R17.2m) Gaston Sirino (9th, R16.2m) and striker Mauricio Affonso (10th, R15.3m).
