France booked their place in the World Cup final for the second time after ending Morocco’s World Cup dreams by clinching a 2-0 victory at the Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Theo Hernandez put the defending champions ahead in the fifth minute to make it 1-0 after Morocco failed to clear their line.

Randal Kolo Muani, who came on as a 79th minute substitute for Ousmane Dembélé, double his side’s lead seconds later to seal the victory for France.

France are now set to go head to head with Lionel Messi’s Argentina side when the two sides meet at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday.
