England were forced to wait to qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup after they shared the spoils with United States following a goalless draw at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al-Khor.
The Three Lions remain at the top of Group B with four points after two matches with one win and a draw, while USA are placed third on the table with two points after two straight stalemates.
Gareth Southgate’s men will now face off against Rob Page’s side in their final group stage game, while Gregg Berhalter’s chargers take on Carlos Queiroz’s side on Tuesday, November 29.

Netherlands 1-1 Ecuador
Ecuador came from a goal down to fight back and earn a point following their 1-1 draw against the Netherlands after Coday saw his sixth minute opener cancelled out by a 49th minuted equaliser from Enner Valencia at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
The Netherlands and Ecuador find themselves placed first and second in the Group A standing level on four points after their first two matches.
Netherlands will next battle it out with host Qatar in their final group game at the Al Bayt Stadium, while Ecuador face Senegal at the Khalifa International Stadium on Tuesday, November 29.

Qatar 1-3 Senegal
Hosts Qatar were eliminated from the tournament after just two games following their 3-1 defeat to Senegal when goals from Boulaye Dia, Famara Diédhiou and Ahmadou Bamba Dieng cancelled out Mohammed Muntari’s 78th minute goal at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
Senegal are now placed third on the table with three points after claiming their first win in Group A, while Qatar remains at the foot of the group, having lost two games straight.
Qatar will play Netherlands in the final Group A fixture at the Al Bayt Stadium, while Senegal will face off against Ecuador at the Khalifa International Stadium on Tuesday, November 29.

Wales 0-2 Iran
Goals from Roozbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezaeian earned Iran their first win of the tournament after they sealed a 2-0 victory over 10-man Wales after goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey’s red card at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.
The win saw Iran move up to second place in the Group B standings with three points from two games, while Wales sit at the bottom of the group with just one point from their first two matches.
Wales will need to beat England in their final group game to have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages, while Iran takes on United States in the other group fixture on Tuesday, November 29.
