Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez inspired Argentina to reach the World Cup final after they trashed Croatia 3-0 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Messi scored his fifth goal of the tournament after slotting the ball home from the penalty spot to put the South American side ahead before Man City forward Julian Alvarez a goal in each half to ensure Argentina’s progression to the finals.
Argentina will now take on either defending champions France or African giants Morocco in the final of the World Cup at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday.
Speculative and on-target but Livakovik has it covered.
