Jim Furyk rewrote the history books by shooting the first 58 in PGA Tour history on Sunday, a 12-under-par romp around the par-70 TPC River Highlands course.

The 46-year-old and world number 24 went out in 27 strokes and then birdied the 16th to stand at sole fifth in the clubhouse.
