Koreans Hee Young Park and Ha Na Jang co-led on six under par at the halfway mark of the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Classic on Friday, one stroke clear of a four-way tie for second that included South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace.

Jang, ranked 12th in the world, made a late bogey at the 15th to slip out of the sole lead, but signed for her second 69 of the week to set the clubhouse lead.

Park took advantage of the get-able front nine and made four birdies in her first seven holes, but gave back a shot on the second loop to tie the lead.

Pace’s round was a mixed bag of 70 that included five birdies and three dropped shots at Miramar Golf & Country Club.

The world number 44 was five under par and tied third with So Yeon Ryu, Brooke Henderson, and Olympic bronze medalist Shanshan Feng.

Defending champion Lydia Ko slipped down to 18th after carding 73 on Friday and headed into the weekend five shots off the lead.

Paula Reto has battled in Taiwan this week and followed her Thursday round of 76 with a 73 to share 50th place after 36 holes.
