Justin Rose has one hand on the FedExCup title after a third round 68 kept him comfortably in the top five at the Tour Championship at East Lake.
The Englishman started bogey-bogey before birdies at the 3rd, 5th and 6th helped steady the ship. He and Rory McIlroy (66) are three behind Tiger Woods (65), but it’s Rose who’s in the driver’s seat for the FedExCup, which he stands to win as long as he doesn’t finish outside the top five.
A 66 helped Bryson DeChambeau offset his Friday 75 but the FedExCup leader has dropped to third in the projected standings.
Top five in the projected standings:
1. Justin Rose
2. Tiger Woods
3. Bryson DeChambeau
4. Tony Finau
5. Dustin Johnson
