Charl Schwartzel and Christiaan Bezuidenhout are the only South Africans left at The Masters this weekend.
Schwartzel, the 2011 Masters champion, shot rounds of 72 and 69 to sit at three under – five shots adrift of leader and world No 1 Scottie Scheffler at Augusta National.
Bezuidenhout lies T16 on even par after Friday’s second round of one under 71.
Missing the cut is Erik van Rooyen (eight over) and Masters debutant Garrick Higgo (11 over), who missed the four-over cut mark.
Louis Oosthuizen withdrew prior to the second round due to injury.
