Diego Costa inspired Chelsea to a 2-0 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

Brazilian attacker Willian struck in the 61st minute after Chelsea launched one of a series of increasingly dangerous counter-attacks as Costa’s pass picked out the Brazilian putting his defender out of the game before curling an unstoppable into the back of the net.
Six minutes later the game was put beyond Hull’s reach as Nemanja Matic saw a shot blocked by Curtis Davies, but Costa latched onto the rebound to bend a shot past Hull goalkeeper David Marshall for his sixth goal in seven games.
The Spanish striker played a vital role for the Blue by taking four shots at goal with three shots on target, while three came from inside the box and one from outside the Hull box.
According to SportsClub’s Opta-powered match centre, Diego Costa managed to complete 58 touches on the ball after spending 90 minutes on the field.
The Spanish international completed 29 out of 38 passes on the ball with 28.9% coming from the back and the left while 26.3% came from the right.
In defence, the striker won 100% (one of one) tackles and won five out of 16 duels while making two clearances and intercepting one ball at the KC Stadium.
In attack, the striker scored one goal and assited one goal while creating three chances in attack for the Blues going forward.
Chelsea controlled the match and had the best possession (59.7%), while Hull City could only manage 40.3% of the possession.
Meanwhile, the Blues had more shots on goal than the Tigers, producing 22 chances at goal compared to eight efforts respectively.
