Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes his side’s 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur is a chance for the Blues to analyse their performance this season.
The Blues 100 percent record in the Premier League was undone by an own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov own goal and a Dele Alli goal at White Hart Lane.
The 45-year-old manager says he is disappointed but has accepted the defeat, declaring that it will help his side improve their performance.
‘It’s part of our job. We changed many, many things in the beginning and it’s all part of the process, we can’t always win all of the games so sometimes it can help us to improve.’ Guardiola the Manchester City website.
‘I’m here to do our job and to get better we need to process and analyse what we are doing well and not well. It’s the end of September so you cannot imagine that our team is already done.
Guardiola believes City’s performance so far this season has been great but he insists that his side won’t give up fighting.
‘They have done an amazing performance until now. Still, we are not perfect but the team are fighting until the end and that is the most important thing,’ he added.
Manchester City will next face Everton at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on October 15.
