Anthony Martial came to Manchester United’s rescue following their 1-1 draw with Stoke City at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
United thought they had done enough to win secure a victory over Stoke when substitute Anthony Martial put his side ahead in the 69th minute with a curling shot from the edge of the box that beat Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant.
However, Allen levelled matters later on after pouncing on an error from United goalkeeper David De Gea.
Martial played a vital role in helping his side secure a point by taking one shot at goal and on target coming from inside the box to breaking the deadlock in the 69th minute of the match.
According to SportsClub’s Opta-powered match centre, Anthony Martial managed to complete 16 touches on the ball after spending 23 minutes on the field.
The French international completed 100% (eight out of eight) of his passes on the ball with 62.5% coming from the right while 25% came from the back and 12.5% going forward.
In defence, the striker won one foul for his side and won one out of two duels while completing one out of four crosses for his side.
In attack, the striker scored one goal for United and created one chance in attack following his side’s 1-1 draw with Stoke at Old Trafford.
Manchester United controlled the match and had the best possession (67.3%), while Stoke City could only manage 32.7% of the possession.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils had more shots on goal than the Potters, producing 24 chances at goal compared to seven efforts respectively.
