Juventus have confirmed that Dani Alves has agreed to join Bianconeri on a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The 33-year-old had 12 months left on his contract at the Nou Camp but asked to leave earlier this month following a successful eight-year stint with the Spanish giants.

Alves’ transfer to Juventus marks the arrival of a natural-born winner and a true master of his trade having played a key role in one of the most trophy-laden spells with any club over the course of the game’s existence, reports the Juventus website.

According to the website, Bianconeri is acquiring a defender of immense aggression, drive and extraordinary technical quality, who promises to provide an added angle of attack for Massimiliano Allegri’s outfit down the right side.

The Brazilian full-back won a total of 28 titles during his stint at Barc, including three Champions League, two Uefa Cups, five Copa del Rey, five Spanish Super Cups, four Uefa Super Cups, three Fifa Club World Cups, six La Liga titles.
