In the latest edition of the Fifa rankings, Bafana Bafana remained in 62nd place while Germany and Brazil moved up to second and third respectively, while Spain broke into the top 10.
Shakes Mashaba’s side stalled in 62nd position in the world rankings and has to move since their exploits in the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers and 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers. Bafana Bafana will now go up against Senegal, who are currently in 32nd position and have become the second-best country in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire in 31st place.
Germany have now advanced to to second place beating Belgium and Colombia with 1,465 points, while Brazil advanced further up the table to third.
Both Belgium and Colombia have dropped in the rankings, leaving them in fourth and fifth spot with Spain breaking into the top 10 with 1,168 points.
However, the Argentina side holds its dominance in the rankings by remaining in first place with a points lead of 244 over Germany.
