Talented young Brazil star Gabriel Barbosa has revealed he will soon make an announcement regarding his future.

The 19-year-old Santons player has been linked with a switch to Arsenal and Chelsea, while the player could also follow in the footsteps of Neymar by making the switch to Barcelona.

The forward, speaking following a 3-1 win over Ponte Preta on Saturday, has now confirmed a decision is imminent.

‘I played as if it was my last game here,’ he told ESPN. ‘Soon you will know something.’

The forward was later active on Instagram, where he posted an ambiguous message in reference to the club.

‘My heart is Alvinegro and it will always beat for you. Santos are my life. I will love you until death.’

As of yet it is unclear whether Barbosa was committing to the club or bidding it farewell.

Gabriel, also known as Gabigol in Brazil, has often been compared to Neymar in his style of play. The forward has netted five times in 10 appearances so far this season.
