England manager Sam Allardyce will name his first squad when the Premier League makes way for the international break after the round of fixtures on Sunday.

Allardyce’s first game will be the World Cup qualifier in Slovakia on September 4 before a double-header of qualifying matches in October, against Malta, and against Slovenia, according to SkySports.

The 61-year-old manager left his position as Sunderland manager and was replaced Roy Hodgson as the England manager on a two-year deal in July.

Big Sam recently appointed Leicester City assistant coach Craig Shakespeare as the Three Lions new first-team coach.

Shakespeare will now join the likes of Sammy Lee as assistant manager and Martyn Margetson as goalkeeping coach as Allardyce’s backroom staff.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere says the players need to ‘win back the trust’ of the supporters and he admits that their manager will add a couple of new faces to the England first team.

‘I’m sure there will be new players involved with England, and us, of course, we need to win the trust back of the fans,’ he said.

‘But once we do that we need the whole country behind us as well.’

Over the course of his managerial career, Allardyce has already managed the likes of Blackpool, Notts County, Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, and Sunderland.
