Manchester United are edging closer to completing a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the clubs agreed a £26.3million fee.
According to SkySports, the 27-year-old Armenia midfielder has agreed personal terms with United after talks with his representative and will undergo a medical within the next week.
Mkhitaryan has reportedly regularly been linked with United and new boss Jose Mourinho appears set to land his signature.
The midfielder has one year left on his contract at Die Borussen, but is opting for a move to the Premier League rather than sign a new contract at the German club.
The Armenian captain joined Dortmund from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk for £23.5million in 2013.
Mkhitaryan has scored 23 goals and created 32 assist from 52 appearances fro Dortmund in all competitions during the 2015-16 season, and was named the Bundesliga Players’ Player of the Season.
The former Shakhtar midfielder has made a total of 59 caps for Armenia and is currently their all-time leading top goalscorer, having netted 19 times for his country.
