Liverpool midfielder Emre Can says he cannot remember a teammate being more reliable from the penalty spot than James Milner.
Milner scored his fourth consecutive penalty against Swansea City to hand his side a fifth straight win in all competitions before the international break.
So far this season, Milner has found the target from the spot four times and his overall record since joining the Reds is now seven without missing.
The German midfielder says that Milner is a good penalty taker and he believes that the England internationals is ranked alongside the best penalty takers at the club.
‘I’m young, but I haven’t seen in any of my teams so far such a good penalty taker. In training, every ball is in the net. He’s a very, very good penalty taker,’ Can told the Liverpool website.
The 22-year-old went on to praised the transition Milner has made from midfield to left back this season, declaring that he is doing a great job in his newly-found position.
‘It has surprised a lot of people because it’s not easy to play at left back from midfield,’ he added.
‘But Millie did it very well and I think he has scored more goals than last year in this time. He’s a very important player for us. He has to keep going like that and the team has to keep going like that.’
Liverpool will next lock horns with Manchester United in the Premier League on Monday.
The match at Anfield kicks off at 21:00.
