Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech says he was disappointed that his side didn’t collect all three points against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Blues came from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over the Gunners after Leroy Sane cancelled out Theo Walcott’s fifth-minute goal before Raheem Sterling secured the win for his side in the 71st minute of the match.
The 34-year-old insists that he was disappointed to have lost points against Pep Guardiola’s side but insists that his side will bounce back and return to winning ways in their next Premier League encounter.
‘We are very disappointed. We had two games away and we wanted to get as many points as possible, and we have none. We are disappointed with that, we’ve given the other teams that are on top the advantage,’ Cech told the Arsenal website.
‘But there’s a long way to go and we can come back, ideally win the next game and then get on a run. Anything can happen so we need to concentrate on ourselves, go back to winning games and we’ll see what the others will do.’Arsenal will now take on West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on December 26.
The match at the Emirates Stadium kicks off at 17:00.
