Chelsea and Inter Milan have agreed a €25-million fee for the transfer of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, according to a report.
Though a deal between the clubs has already been struck, Chelsea are yet to agree personal terms with the midfielder, who is reportedly unhappy with the prospective wage the club have offered, reports Sportske Novosti.
The 23-year-old allegedly has reservations about the move and would be content to stay in Italy with Inter, where his loyalty could see him rewarded with a better contract in the future.
Nevertheless, it is expected Chelsea will enhance their offer soon as the club looks to strengthen in midfield before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night.
Brozovic made 32 appearances in the Serie A for Inter last term, scoring four and assisting a further five.
The star was also part of the Croatia squad that competed at Euro 2016.
