PSG defender David Luiz could be set for a return to Chelsea with the Premier League club offering £30-million plus add-ons to the Ligue 1 side.
The 29-year-old left Stamford Bridge for France two years ago in a £50-million deal which was a world record fee for a defender.
However, with just hours to go until the transfer window closes, discussions are ongoing with Luiz reportedly keen on a return to west London, according to SkySports.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made it clear that Luiz was his top target with moves for Alessio Romagnoli and Kalidou Koulibaly falling through.
last week Chelsea’s £30-million bid for Romagnoli was rejected, and that there was a ’90 percent’ chance of Koulibaly not moving to Conte’s team.
Chelsea first purchased Luiz in January 2011 from Benfica for a fee of £21-million.
In his three-year stay with the Blues, Luiz managed to make a total of 143 appearances for in all competitions, scoring 12 goals.
