Chelsea confirmed that young midfielder Jeremie Boga has joined Granada in the Spanish top flight on a season-long loan. 

The 19-year-old was part of the Blues academy teams which won the Uefa Youth League and FA Youth Cup in 2015, reports the Chelsea website.

Boga spent last season at Ligue 1 side Rennes where he gained valuable experience playing first-team football, playing in 31 matches while creating one assist and scoring three times.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s academy graduate Ola Aina has signed a new four-year contract  with the club keeping him at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2019-20 season.
