Manchester City has completed the signing of 19-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko from Ufa as they revamp their side following Pep Guardiola’s arrival.
Zinchenko made a name for himself last season as he broke into the first team of his Russian club, consequently earning himself a place in Ukraine’s Euro 2016 squad, playing all three of their matches.
Zinchenko is also Ukraine’s youngest ever goal scorer, a feat he achieved with a goal in a 3-2 victory over Romania in May.
The forward, who can play as either a left wing or a right wing, becomes Guardiola’s fourth signing as he follows the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Aaron Mooy and Nolito through the door.
Zinchenko made 25 appearances for Ufa last term, scoring twice.
