Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Francis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin could be available for selection for when they take on Stoke City on Saturday.
The Gunners recently secured their place in the Round of 16 in the Champions League following their comfortable 4-1 victory over Basel on Tuesday.
The 67-year-old has revealed that Francis Coquelin and Hector Bellerin could be available for selection but insists that Per Mertesacker and Santi Cazorla are recovering well from their respective injuries.
‘From Tuesday night we have no injuries, I hope. Everyone looks to have recovered well. Coming back into the squad, we have Coquelin who was of course suspended and maybe Bellerin who has a test today,’ Wenger told the Arsenal website.
‘They are recovering well but they are a few weeks away from joining in again.
‘It’s a difficult way to say the surgery is ‘perfect’, but you can say it was needed and it went well. Afterward, we have to see how he recovers.’
Arsenal will now welcome Stoke City to the Emirates Stadium when the two side’s lock horns in the Premier League on Saturday.
Kick-off has been set for 17:00.
