Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho says he feels teamwork will play a key role in helping the club achieve their ‘big objectives’ this season.
The Reds are currently placed third in the Premier League with 45 points and are still fighting on in the FA Cup with their third-round replay with Plymouth Argyle and have an EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Southampton ahead.
The Brazilian has urged his side to remain focused and as a team, work towards gaining success at the end of the 2016-17 season.
‘We have to keep working together because the season is very long. We have big objectives to realise this season,’ Coutinho told the Liverpool website.
‘The confidence [of a good result] brings good feeling, tells us that we have to keep working hard. This season promises to be very important for us and Liverpool have to keep playing well.’
Liverpool will next take on Swansea City in the Premier League on Saturday.
The match at Anfield kicks off at 14:30.
