Euro 2016 continues as England take on Wales in a British derby on Thursday, while Germany are also in action.

There are no injury concerns for Roy Hodgson’s England squad, but the coach will have his hands full picking a side to start against the Welsh. England looked well balanced against Russia in their previous game, but lacked the firepower to kill off the game, before eventually being held 1-1.

Unused substitute and Leicester City star Jamie Vardy is likely to take to the field this time, with the 29-year-old being touted as a ready solution to the Three Lion’s lack of composure up front.

Wales shot-stopper Wayne Hennessey is in a fitness race for the tie having missed his side’s win over Slovakia with back trouble. Meanwhile, midfielder Aaron Ramsey has stated he believes his country are due a victory in the fixture. Wales have not beaten England since 1984.

The game will be played at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, Lens.

The second game of the day sees Ukraine come up against Northern Ireland. Both sides tasted defeated in their opening fixtures against Germany and Poland respectively, meaning a win is essential for their knockout round qualification hopes.

Irish fans will be hoping to use the game as a platform for commemorating the death of Darren Rodgers. The fan shockingly lost his life in Nice when he fell off a balcony following the Poland loss.

Ukraine, for their part, have never tasted defeated against the Irish. The side has two wins and two draws to show from their previous meetings.

The match will be played at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon.

Kick-off is at 19:00.

The final game of the day sees Germany take on neighbours Poland. The sides were both victorious in their opening games, meaning victory for either would all but assure their place in the next round.

The Germans will welcome defender Mats Hummels back from injury, whereas Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is a doubt for the clash following a thigh injury.

The game will see Poland’s lethal striker Robert Lewandowski come face-to-face with a number of his Bayern Munich teammates, including the likes of Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller, among others.

The match will be played at the Stade de France, Paris.
