Swansea City have completed the signing of Leroy Fer from Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee.
The Holland international has signed a three-year contract at the Liberty Stadium on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell with the club last season.
The 26-year-old joined the Swans in February and went on to make 11 appearances as Francesco Guidolin’s side finished 12th in the Premier League.
After making his Swans debut against Tottenham Hotspur, Fer’s first start came in their 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. He also started in the victories over Aston Villa, Chelsea and West Ham United, reports the Swansea City website.
The former FC Twente midfielder enjoyed a two-year spell at QPR, where he scored eight goals in 50 appearances after making a switch from Norwich City.
On the international front, Fer has been capped a total of 11 times for Holland and was part of the Dutch squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil; scoring his first and only international goal against Chile in the group stage.
