Austrian defender Christian Fuchs shined as Leicester City cruised to a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Foxes secured their third home Premier League victory of the season after defeating Crystal Palace through goals by Ahmed Musa, Shinji Okazaki and Fuchs.
The Austrian defender played an important part by taking one shot at goal and scoring from 25-yards out with a thunderous strike to score his side’s third goal of the match.
According to Sports Club’s Opta-powered match stats, Christian Fuchs managed to complete 69 touches on the ball after 90 minutes on the field.
The 30-year-old completed 26 out of 32 passes on the ball with 53.1% going forward and 37.5% coming from the right while creating two chances in attack.
In defence, the defender won two out of four tackles and six out of 14 duels while making eight clearances for his side.
Crystal Palace controlled the match and had the best possession (55.4%), while Leicester City could only manage 44.6%.
Meanwhile, Palace had more shots on goal than the Foxes, producing 23 chances compared to the Foxes’ 17 efforts.
