Leicester City left back Christian Fuchs says his side will bounce back in the Premier League following their 2-1 defeat by Sunderland on Saturday.
The Foxes fought back at the Stadium of Light, but striker Shinji Okazaki’s 80th-minute strike was not enough to overturn a two-goal deficit after goals by Robert Huth and Jermain Defoe.
For the 30-year-old, Leicester City were the better team creating more chances on attack, and he believes they will win back their mojo.
‘In the first 10 or 15 minutes, Sunderland put a lot of pressure on our defence but we came through that and we became the better team,’ Fuchs told the Leicester City website.
‘We had more possession, we were the better team on the ball and created a couple of chances. At times like this you need to get the momentum going and try and get a dirty win.
‘I believe that we have a lot of quality in our squad. With a couple of wins and points we will find our way back up the table.’
Leicester City travel to Estadio Do Dragao to take on Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Kick-off has been scheduled for 21:45.
