Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has made a surprise return to football.
Giggs, who was affiliated with the Red Devils for 29 years, has since registered to take part in India’s Premier Futsal League.
The 42-year-old will join the likes of former Argentina striker Hernan Crespo in the league, as well as the likes of former Ballon d’Or winner and World Cup winner Ronaldinho in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
The likes of former Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado and former Barcelona Deco will are also taking part, while Ronaldinho remains the big name attraction.
The Brazilian, who delighted fans across the world with his outrageous brand of football a decade ago, has been without a club since his departure from Brazilian side Fluminese.
The league will get underway on Friday, July 15, and will conclude 11 days later on July 26.
