Young Arsenal starlet Serge Gnabry is poised to complete a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich, according to a report.
Gnabry, who has made a handful of appearances for the Gunners on the wing, will allegedly complete the deal before the end of the transfer window before being immediately loaned out to Werder Bremen, reports Sky Sports Germany.
Arsene Wenger had allegedly been keen to send the starlet out on loan to the Bundesliga and commit the player to a contract extension, but it now appears the club has sanctioned the permanent sale of the youngster.
Gnabry signed a five-year contract with Arsenal back in 2013 but is reportedly keen on a return to his native Germany, whom he has represented at youth level and at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Gnabry spent part of last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion before being recalled by Wenger. In all, the star has made 18 appearances for the Gunners since arriving at the club as 16-year-old from Stuttgart back in 2011.
The youngster appeared for the Gunners against Bayern in Champions League back in 2014.
