Griezmann wins Golden Boot, France lose

Antoine Griezmann has won the Golden Boot at Euro 2016 following his six goals in the tournament, but it wasn’t enough to take his country to the title.

Griezmann, who also netted two assists in the tournament, won the race for the tournament’s top scorer at a canter as he doubled the scoring tallies of the chasing pack.

It was Ronaldo who had the last laugh, however, as his Portugal side went on to beat the Griezmann’s Franch in extra-time following a superb strike from Eder, thereby lifting the trophy and being crowned European Champions.
