Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has warned his players to expect a tough battle when they take on Watford in the Premier League on Wednesday.
The Blues will be hoping to bounce back at Etihad Stadium following their most recent defeat against Leicester City last weekend.
The 45-year-old manager believes the Hornets will pose a number of their, especially from set-pieces but the Catalan boss remains confident ahead of the clash.
‘They can play with five or four at the back,’ Guardiola told the Manchester City website.
‘They are confident. They won at home against many good teams. It’s not that different from the Leicester, or Stoke City or West Brom games; it’s just changing a bit the quality of the players.
‘So West Brom is quite similar in terms of the quality of the strikers as Watford. They will play long balls to the strikers, win the duels, put in crosses – that is what I think is going to happen.’
Manchester City against Watford kicks off at 22:00.
