Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard has claimed that Manchester City are one of the biggest challengers for the Premier League title this season.
The Blues are currently lead the Premier League standings with 31 points with both City and Liverpool close behind on 30 points after 13 matches.
The 25-year-old believes that Pep Guardiola’s side are serious contenders to lift the title and has stated that his international teammate Kevin De Bruyne will play a big role in helping them get there.
‘Man City and Liverpool. They are both good. If we want to be there at the end, then we have to finish above them,’ Hazard said.
‘He [De Bruyne] is a top player. He didn’t get his chance here at Chelsea but did very well in Germany and since he went to City he’s been on fire.
‘It’s good for Belgium that two players are fighting for the title in England, but I hope when we go to the national team we don’t fight! We’re good friends.’
Chelsea will now go head-to-head against Manchester City when the two side’s meet in the Premier League on Saturday.
The match at the Etihad Stadium kicks off at 14:30.
