Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard says he is determined to restore his form that made him a success at Stamford Bridge.

The 25-year-old was instrumental during the Blues Premier League title-winning season in 2014-15 but endured a miserable follow-up season last term.

The Belgium international could only find the net four times last season and some Chelsea fans turned on the playmaker following Jose Mourinho’s sacking in December.

However, Hazard aims to put the bad times behind him and help the Blues challenge for the Premier League again this season, reports SkySports.

‘I want to be the best like I was two years ago,’ Hazard said.

‘We’ve got to show to everyone we’re Chelsea, we’re big players, a big team and we didn’t finish in a good place last season. No we want to do better and win the Premier League.’

Hazard admitted that he is happy to remain at the club, despite speculation of him leaving Stamford Bridge and he hopes to have an injury-free season working with new manager Antonio Conte.

‘I said after a season like that, I wanted to stay because I didn’t want to finish like this,’ he added.

‘If I must leave Chelsea one day, I hope I can finish well here and be a champion again. I played a very bad season. It’s easy to say now I was tired. Even when I’m not at the maximum level I want to play well.

‘It’s not easy to play with a small injury in England as the game is very difficult. But this season I’m ready.’
