Chelsea defender Michael Hector has agreed to join German side Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Reading, from which he joined the Blues for £4-million last season, reports the Chelsea website.
Hector has featured several times in pre-season for the Blues but the defender has been sent out to the Bundesliga to continue his development with the Bundesliga side until the end of the 2016-17 season.
The Jamaica international began his career at Reading and he has spent time on loan at Irish side Dundalk, Barnet, Shrewsbury, Aldershot, Cheltenham Town and Aberdeen before establishing himself in the Royals first-team.
He made 223 appearances over the course of his career while netting 13 goals and assisting a further seven in all competitions.
