Thierry Henry has left his post as a youth coach at Arsenal following a falling out with manager Arsene Wenger, according to reports.

The row was allegedly sparked over Henry’s appearances as a pundit in Sky Sports, reports The Sun.

Henry regularly appears on television in the build-up to Premier League fixtures for Sky, while the player was also on duty during Euro 2016.

The Arsenal legend had been working in a part-time capacity with Arsenal’s youth ranks but has allegedly opted to walk away from the role after Wenger demanded he left his punditry position before he continued with the Gunners.

Henry has publically criticised Arsenal while on air as a pundit, but according to the report, Wenger’s decision to part ways with his former striker has nevertheless come as a surprise inside the club.

Henry is Arsenal record goalscorer, having netted a remarkable 228 goals with the Gunners.
