Cristiano Ronaldo was on target as Portugal thrashed New Zealand 4-0 in Saint Petersburg on Saturday to advance to the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup.
The Portuguese side progressed as Group A winners, while the All Whites finished bottom of the group, following three straight defeats in the competition.
Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo put his side ahead from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute, after Danilo was wrestled to the ground in the area by Tom Doyle and Tommy Smith.
Bernardo Silva then doubled their lead with a close-range finish, but in doing so landed awkwardly on his ankle and had to be taken off at half-time.
Portugal forward Andre Silva found a goal in the 80th minute from an acute angle, before Nani added a fourth in stoppage time.
