Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes he gets better with age after helping his side claim a 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The Swedish striker scored a brace to help his side to victory and also take his goal tally to 16 in all competitions so far this season.
Reds’ leading scorer took his goal tally for the season to 16 with both strikes in the 2-0 win at West Brom on Saturday.
The 35-year-old says he is showing no signs of slowing down and he believes he can play at the top of his game until he turns 50.
‘I’m settling in, I feel happy, I feel good. Even if I am 35, in my mind I am 20. I think I can play also at 50! But the older I get, the better – like the wine. You like wine? It’s the perfect example,’ Ibrahimovic told the Manchester United website.
Ibrahimovic says he was pleased to have secured the victory at the Hawthorns but insists that he his side worked hard to walk away with all three points.
‘Yeah, it was a good game,’ He added.
‘We took the three points but it was a difficult game. It was very physical but, at the end, we won and we’re happy with it. Every game is hard, not only here, but we were prepared for it. We know it and we are working hard but we got the three points so it was good.’
Manchester United will now take on Sunderland in the Premier League on December 26.
The match at Old Trafford kicks off at 17:00.
