Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is confident his club will retain the services of Brazilian superstar Neymar despite links to PSG and Manchester United.
The Red Devils are reportedly looking to make additions to their squad following Jose Mourinho’s takeover, with the club’s predecessor Louis van Gaal having failed to turn his side into title challengers.
Paris-Saint Germaine, meanwhile, are still looking to crack-on in the Champions League and will be particularly keen to add firepower to their squad given the expiary of star forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract at the end of the month.
But Spanish superstar Iniesta is seemingly reading little into the latest round of rumours.
‘I’ll bet Neymar stays,’ Iniesta told Sports Four.
‘I think important clubs want to have Neymar.
‘I think he is happy where he is and my only wish is that he continues with us and that he plays at the same level as the previous season.’
Neymar has scored 85 goals in 141 appearances for Barcelona since arriving at the club in 2013.
