Manchester United and City have joined the race to sign Jamaican wonderkid Leon Bailey from K.R.C. Genk.

The 19-year-old has been scouted by both the Manchester teams and has also recently been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Liverpool, according to the Sun.

Bailey netted twice for Genk in their 3-2 Europa League defeat at Rapid Vienna last week and was already named the best young player in the Belgium league last season.

The Jamaican winger could be joining the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Thibaut Courtois who came through the ranks at Genk to become stars in the Premier League.

Over the course of his career, Bailey has netted 13 times and has assisted 14 goals from 55 appearances in all competitions for Genk since joining the club in 2015.

On an international level, He has yet to appear for Jamaica at a senior level but has starred for his country for the U23’s and has scored on his debut from a direct free kick against  the Cayman Islands on March 8, 2015.
